Workshop Description
Participants will select, break and mend a Japanese ceramic through Kintsugi - a very old ancient art of repair originating from Kyoto, Japan.
Through this 2hr workshop, you'll embark on a transformative journey into the heart of the Japanese art of kintsugi. Led by Kyoto trained instructor, Nilo, a certified kintsugi practitioner with many years of expertise and teaching experience, you'll discover not only the craft of kintsugi but also its profound healing philosophy.
About The Artist
Kintsugi Art Studio is a Singapore-based creative studio dedicated to the art and philosophy of Kintsugi — the Japanese practice of repairing broken ceramics with beauty and intention. Through healing-focused workshops and guided hands-on experiences, the studio encourages creativity, resilience, and self-reflection for learners of all levels.
